Ana de Armas bio

Ana Celia de Armas Caso is from Cuba. In Cuba, she began her acting career with the lead role in Una Rosa de Francia. In 2007, she relocated to Madrid to Spain and began starring on El Internado, a popular Spanish drama, for six consecutive seasons. She landed English-speaking roles when she moved into Los Angeles. These included the film of horror War Dogs (2015), and Psychological thriller Knock Knock (2017). The role she played as the holographic AI Joi from Blade Runner 2049 (2017)'s science fiction movie earned her fame. Ana de Armas, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez dated prior to the actor's marriage with Jennifer Lopez. Affleck along with Ana de Armas were together for less than a full year, after they appeared together on Deep Water. Ana de Armas's popularity grew during the time she was with Ben Affleck. Yet, it wasn't what some people wanted. Ballerina will be the following spin-off, and it stars Ana de Armas in her part as Rooney. The character is the murderer that appeared briefly in John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum in which she was played (by Unity Phelan) by Unity Phelan. John Wick Chapter 4 does have no direct reference to Ballerina. Ana de Armas is worth $4 million in 2023.
